Peer Mediation

All Year Six students are trained in Peer Mediation, where they develop the skills to assist students to resolve minor issues. Peer Mediators demonstrate conflict resolution skills such as: understanding body language, understanding feelings, active listening and reflecting, effective questioning, assertion and brain storming. In addition to supporting others, these are skills that our students can use throughout the remainder of their education and adult lives.

Peer Mediators can be found in the school grounds every lunch time, except Fridays. In addition to teaching staff, they are there to help students to work through the problems they may be experiencing.
